Butterfly Kisses Valentine

Hi Smithies!
Valentine's day is next week!  So, I wanted to give you a bit of  Love inspiration.  I used the super sweet single image, Butterfly Kisses.  I stamped this sweet image on white glossy CS in black die ink.  I mounted the stamped image on a sprayed ink background.

Smile, it's a happy day!

This sweet, little angel is called Butterfly Kisses from The Stampsmith.  Doesn't she just bring a smile to your face?  :)  I have the larger version of this stamp but this is the first time I've used the smaller version of her.  She's just too sweet!  

I made the flower and added the sentiment, 'smile' to the inside.  The lace doily is a diecut and I added lots of chocolate pearls finish off the embellishing.

As I wanted a soft, slightly ethereal look to this piece, I deliberately used less ink on my brayer before stamping the image. The image was tinted with Distress Inks before embellishing with a variety of pressed flowers.
