Warm up Winter Wishes

Hi Smithies,
Today, I would like to share a icy blue card made with one of the Flappers from Flappers #1 Full Sheet.  I set the lovely lady on a background of icy blue papers.

Doesn't she warm your heart!!??  Check out the full post  on my blog, Dreaming and Creating for more photos and details.  Hope you have a great day!

A Very Stylish Christmas

Here we are, Christmas Eve and I am sharing the first of two posts today.
Isn't this Flapper( from Flapper # 1 ) so stylish.
She was stamped in the usual manner (Archival onto glossy cardstock) but colour then added with watercolour paints.
Stylish details of a fabulous fabric flower, large pearl embellishment and extravagant bow.
Hope you are having a lovely start to Christmas Eve.
Wishes

Timeless Elegance

This stunning image is from Flappers #1. She exudes timeless elegance.
I painted the image with watercolours so that her dress and flowers would co-ordinate with the colours of the hanging.
To add vintage charm I used vintage lace and a vintage button was stitched to the large fabric bloom. For sparkle a faux diamante buckle was threaded through some picot edged ribbon.
A gentle reminder that the Hallowe'en challenge is underway over at TSC Blog ( link on the sidebar). The DT always enjoy viewing the artwork that is entered so why not show us your interpretation of Hallowe'en. All rules are on the challenge blog but I will add this note, you must include at least one Stampsmith stamp in your artwork. It is worthwhile entering as there is a random prize draw which is excellent.

Sonata

With the festive season behind us it is time to store the Christmas stamps away. As much as I enjoyed making Christmas cards and gifts this year, I am now desperate to start work on non-festive projects.
For this card I used one of the images from Flappers #1. Brief instructions can be found at Adorn.

Dance Card

Another beautiful image from Flappers No 1 sheet. I wonder if that is a letter or her dance card she is holding?
