I hope everyone is having a very relaxing weekend!  While updating my blog today, I spent some time yesterday looking back through my archives.  It's fun to see how paper crafting supplies and styles have changed over time!  I pulled a few of my favorite Stampsmith cards together into this little slideshow....

Always On My Mind

Here's a card created for a "Favorite Board Game" challenge over at the Cutting Garden Blog who will soon be carrying the beautiful Stampsmith stamps - yay! This is based on my favorite board game - Cranium. In one category in this game, you get to act like a famous person and the other players have to guess who you are! Can you guess who this is... LOL!!!

Hi everyone...

I hope you're enjoying a beautiful summer! The summer weather has finally arrived in Nova Scotia and we're having a little heat wave with 100% humidity - gasp! It's making me want to stay inside out of the heat so I've been up in the craft room a bit more lately. Here's one of my latest creations.

This card is actually diamond shaped. To help it open, the top point is attached together and has a score across the back to help it open well. It looks fine sitting on its side, but it looks better when the bottom point is sitting in a stand :) This beautiful image reminded me of scenes from Pride and Predjudice (2005 with Keira Knightly). Sentiment and flourishes are by Quietfire Designs. It was fun to create a card representing a favorite movie - go ahead, give it a try!

Omgosh, this is so adorable! Val sent this card to me last night, and I just had to get it up on the blog! Can you see the bling on the little girls finger? How sweet! I love the black and white theme. This stamp is a single UM.
