Paris in the Spring "Time"

Hi Smithies!
Although it does not feel much like Spring here in Michigan, I wanted to share a fun and cheerful Spring card with you today.  I used the Eiffel Tower from the Paris Full Sheet.

I added two layers of UTTE on top of the image.  Check out my blog, Dreaming and Creating, for more pics and instructions.  Have a great day!

Mother's Day Tea Party

I'm a little late in posting this Mother's Day card, but I haven't been able to get together with my Mum yet as my Dad has been ill with The Shingles and not really up for company. So, I'm going to post this card anyway, hoping that she doesn't see it until I get it to her in the near future.

I used the Paris stamp sheet by The Stampsmith.  I love this set and thought this image of the tea party would be fitting since I remember having tea parties quite often with my Mum when I was a young girl.  :)

This is a bit of an angle view to show you the glitter detail a bit more clearly in the patterned paper.

It's a Tea Party

I have a French inspired card to share with you today using the Paris plate from The Stampsmith. In case you don't read French, the sign reads, "French Countryside Chocolates and Teas.'

I made this card for my youngest daughter who loves everything French. This image reminds me of her hosting little tea parties for me. We used to have so many, perhaps some day we'll actually venture over to Paris for some real tea and to do some sightseeing of all the wonderful pictures throughout France that she has in her room. Some day...

Have you checked out the current Blog Hop that we're having over on The Stampsmith Challenge blog in celebration of our one year anniversary of the challenge blog. If you haven't yet, pop on over and leave a comment and then visit each of the Design Team members and leave a comment on each of our blogs for a chance to win some new rubber from The Stampsmith.

Paris Flair

I have a little Paris Flair to share with you tonight. This card was inspired by little girls' new Paris themed bedroom. She's my little 7 year old Diva and loves all things Paris, but especially the Eiffel Tower. She been sick with the stomach flu the past few days and she actually asks me to make her get well cards, so this one is for her. This project measures 5" x 7" and it's my plan to get a nice frame for it and add it as a decoration in her newly decorated room as it uses all the same colours as her room.

I used the Eiffel Tower photostamp and the word, 'Paris' both from the Paris plate by The Stampsmith. I love this plate, as I'm sure you can tell as I use it quite a bit. It's no wonder my daughter likes the theme, too! lol

A Parisian Anniversary

In celebration of my 15th wedding anniversary this week, I'm sharing a card that I made for my hubby, using the Paris plate from Stampsmith. Unfortunately, I'm not actually visiting Paris, I'll just have to live through The Stampsmith for now! lol :)

Here's a close up of the Eiffel Tower photostamp.
A close up of the Je t'aime sentiment, also from the Paris plate.

Parisian Love Affair

This anniversary card using a stamp from the Paris um plate. Alongside the generous sized stamps there are also useful phrases, a mini map of Paris and cancellation marks. Can you tell I'm a fan of this set?!

Rusty Parisian Gates

It is well known that The Stampsmith's Flappers are firm favourites of mine but so is the Paris plate. So often with Parisian stamps we see the same images repeated whereas this plate has something that is just a bit different. For this piece I wanted to play up on a rusty appearance. The details are on my Blog, Adorn.

Everything Stops For Tea (or chocolate)

For sometime I wanted to use this old spoon in a project but it was only once I received The Stampsmith's Paris plate that I found a use for it, at last.

The focal stamp was also stamped, repeatedly onto tissue paper which was adhered to the painted mini canvas. This image would also be lovely coloured/painted but I wanted to keep muted tones for this canvas.
