Her Quiet Ways

The January Challenge over at The Stampsmith Challenge is rapidly drawing to a close.

Today I am sharing my second and final sample for the Tag Art challenge. This beautiful stamp is from the Won't You Be My Honey plate.

A Wistful Look She Gives You (TSC Make A Tag)

We are now into the second week of the Make A Tag challenge at The Stampsmith Challenge. Click the link for details on this challenge and also to view the amazing artwork from my DT sisters.

For my first DT sample I created the tag and then added it to a card.

This is the first time I've used the Won't You Be My Honey plate which is filled with gorgeous images, in fact some of the images would be perfect for Valentine artwork.

A Winter Morning

This outsize tag uses "Holly". It is such a lovely stamp to work with and as I have mentioned in previous posts, this stamps beautifully whether in black, sepia or red ink. I have no doubt that "Holly" will crop up again in future posts.

A Butterfly Kiss

I make a return visit to Butterfly Kiss, a stamp I used at the beginning of my term as a DT member for The Stampsmith. Butterfly Kiss comes in various sizes, this is the large size and it is that, a very generous size stamp. It is a lovely image to use shimmer paints, painting her wings and the flowers.

Bohemian Girl

Adriana is my stamp of choice this week. She is available as a single unmounted or as part of the Haunting Eyes plate. She really is captivating.

On the oversized tag I layered various papers alongside some stamping. Adriana is a sizeable stamp and I wanted her to be the main focus of the tag. Detailed description on how I made this tag are available at my Blog Adorn.

Hollywood Glamour

The Stampsmith's Bellydancer represents all out glamour. I wanted sparkle and shimmer but still to retain the essence of the stamp which is old style Hollywood Glamour which was always elegant and tasteful.
