Hello Smithies!
Today I would like to share a glittery winter card with you. I used one of the images from the Country Landscape Full Sheet. The Amish scene is stamped with black dye ink on glossy white CS.
I used some pretty decorative papers, a piece of burlap, and lots of glitter glue. There is more info on my blog, Dreaming and Creating. I wish you a great day filled with lots of crafting! LOL

Meet Me For Christmas In Paris
For the month of December, at The Stampsmith Challenge Blog we are asking you to Shimmer, Sparkle and Shine!
This card certainly shimmers as I used winter white glitter card then layered the image which is edged with vintage glass glitter. To create more shimmer I stamped the image onto pearlescent cardstock.
We would love to see your Shimmer, Sparkle and Shine artwork. Please remember to include at least one of The Stampsmith stamps on your artwork. It is worthwhile entering as there is a random prize every month.

Lynne
I would like to share my first project for the challenge, a card with the Eiffel Tower image from Christmas Card Sheet #1 as the focal.

Here's a closeup of the left side panel of Santa with his sack of toys postcard.

I created this decorative piece using patterned paper pieces and used a punch to do the snowflake centrepiece.

Here's a closeup of the right side panel of a sprig of holly postcard.

I hope you decide to play along in the fun with us! I look forward to seeing how your project shimmers, sparkles and shines!

Shimmer, Sparkle and Shine. Christmas Is Coming!
Hope everyone is having a great weekend! This little angel (well, she's a sweet little girl and I added wings to her!), is from the Isn't She Lovely? sheet at The Stampsmith Online Store. The papers I used are Christmas, just not traditional colours. I used chalks to tint her.
A new challenge is underway over at The Stampsmith Challenge Blog. You have until January 8th. If you use at least one Stampsmith rubber stamp, you are eligible for the random draw for a sheet of rubber! You can't win if you don't play!

CAS Christmas card with Grace
Hi Smithies!
More Christmas inspiration for you today. I went uber CAS (clean and simple) with this card. I used the stamp called "Grace Christmas". This is a really versatile Christmas stamp. This was such a fun card to make. So, I just couldn't resist making a couple. And, keep your eye out for more cards from me using this image.
For more pictures and materials, click over to my blog, Dreaming and Creating. How are your Christmas card making efforts progressing? I think I am done. I have finished 66 cards. I may make more if I realize that I forgotten someone. But, for now, I am done. Have a great day!

Something just for Me!
Hi All,
I just wanted to post this card that I made this afternoon. I am home alone, and SHOULD be doing my house work but I sat down to make a card just for me. I have been so busy lately, craft fair stuff, design team stuff, and other obligations that this afternoon while hubby is out doing errands (that he wanted me to do with him but I declined) I made something just for me. If you are interested in how I made this card, please feel free to drop by my blog, http://melscraftyspace.blogspot.com/.

Thanks for peeking in!

What are Little Girls made of?
Hi There,
Sorry it has been so long, my computer crashed and I haven't been able to upload any pictures. Here is the second of these cards for my friend's gender reveal party that she is throwing for her daughter.
I used a stamp from the http://www.stampsmith.net/ecommerce/unmounted-rubber-stamp-sheets/children/thank-heaven2-art-rubber-stamps.html stamp plate from http://www.stampsmith.net/. I thought that it was a perfect match for what she was looking for.
If you are looking for future details on how this card was made, please feel free to drop by my blog for details, http://melscraftyspace.blogspot.com/
Happy Stamping!

Juliet in Watercolor
Hi Smithies!
I have the lovely Juliet in Watercolor for you today. I colored by placing ink from markers on an acrylic block and then picking up the ink with a wet paint brush. I love the soft color that results. I also added some Victorian Velvet Distress ink.
For more pics and info click over to my blog, Dreaming and Creating. Oh, and have a great day.

She's Got The Look
Isn't she something? This sassy lady is called The Look and she is available at The Stampsmith Store in unmounted rubber or wood mounted. I used rose chalk on her cheeks, and added some red glitter to her lips. There is some black tulle under the sentiment. Love that stuff! The gorgeous black velvet ribbon is from my stash of unknown origin! Silver bling for her necklace. The sentiment is from Michael's $1.50 bin.
This is another card I made for the Ribbons & Lace Challenge that's still going on over at The Stampsmith Challenge Blog, along with the 1st Anniversary Blog Hop! You still have time to join in on both! There is free rubber to be won! You can't win if you don't play!

It's a Tea Party

I made this card for my youngest daughter who loves everything French. This image reminds me of her hosting little tea parties for me. We used to have so many, perhaps some day we'll actually venture over to Paris for some real tea and to do some sightseeing of all the wonderful pictures throughout France that she has in her room. Some day...
Have you checked out the current Blog Hop that we're having over on The Stampsmith Challenge blog in celebration of our one year anniversary of the challenge blog. If you haven't yet, pop on over and leave a comment and then visit each of the Design Team members and leave a comment on each of our blogs for a chance to win some new rubber from The Stampsmith.

She Was All Lady
As we are fast approaching the half way mark for the November Challenge theme (link on sidebar) of Ribbons and Lace I thought I would share with you another project, this time a card.
This stunning lady is from Portrait of a Lady plate. This is a generous size stamp (as are the majority of The Stampsmith stamps) and as I wanted to add lots to this card I choose a larger card base, allowing me plenty of space for the addition of lace, trims and a fabric flower with pearls hanging beneath it.

A stamp I always have to hand is the linked postal cancellations from the Paris plate, here used to create an embellishment with a pearl pin and shabby seam binding tied into a bow.
More details are on my Blog, Adorn.
We would love to see your Ribbon and Lace artwork. As always there is a random Prize Draw so it is worth your while entering this challenge. For the month of November only there is a Blog Hop, again all details are on the challenge blog.
Good Luck.

A Faithful Friend
At The Stampsmith Challenge site the fun is underway. To celebrate the 1st anniversary of the challenge site there is a Blog Hop with prizes to be won. As well as the Blog Hop there is a new challenge theme. I am honoured to be the host, selecting the theme of Ribbons and Lace. Please visit the challenge site for details of entering the challenge and the Blog Hop.
The item I created is an altered notebook with the focal stamp fromIt's A Dog's Life
This altered notebook has been made with a friend in mind so I selected the stamp Friendship from Say It With Flair to create an embellishment.
More details can be found at my Blog, Adorn. Although I opted for a feminine style this theme works well with a masculine theme.

Please remember that to enter TSC your artwork must include at least one of The Stampsmith stamps.

Hello Kitty! Ribbons & Lace November Challenge
Love cats! When I saw this stamp, I had to have it! This is my card for the Ribbons & Lace November Challenge that Lynne is hosting. The image was stamped on Copic paper and stamped with Ancient Page Coal Black ink. I then cut her out and inked edges with a little Distress Ink Vintage Photo.
I love using chalks on these photo stamps. For her face and arms I used light brown and then some light peach. Added a smidgen of pink on her cheeks, blue on her dress and some light brown in her hair.
