Joy card
The main image for this card is from the Ooh Baby plate from The Stampsmith. It is stamped with Memories black on glossy cardstock and coloured with waterbased markers applied with a paint brush. The spin art background is made with acrylic paints , cut out with a Spellbinders die and edged with a Krylon gold pen. The mesh background stamp is from Stampington and was stamped on the base card using Versamark , the dots are SU and were stamped with green versafine. The white vinyl Joy sticker was made on my KNK electronic diecutter -font is PassionsConflictROB.
If you would like to know more about the inspiration for this card, please check out the Joy of Making post on my blog.

Wow. The creativity in this card is awesome.
hehehe - This made me giggle! love that! Cute & cool!
how did you do the spin art thing, that is so cool connie dietz
Thanks ladies. Connie, the spin art is done with those little spin art machines you buy for the kids. You put the paper down in the machine, turn it on and drop the paint onto the paper as it spins. You really never know exactly what you will get but it is fun, though a bit messy. You can use acrylic paints, reinkers, alcohol inks- they all give a slightly different effect. It works best on glossy type papers.

Connie, I got mine at Toys r Us. It was one of the cheaper kids art ones, about $12. I have also seen them at Walmart. Some people have made their own using a salad spinner, but I like being about to use it hands free. I'll bet it is often a garage sale item or something that might show up at Goodwill.
This is just fabulous!!! It reminds me of those old American 60's shows like B*witched and the like. Think it's the imaged combined with those colours. I love it!
