When I was at The Stampsmith stamp show a few weeks ago, I purchased the I Love Lucy plate. I thought it was adorable, but also very versatile. The images are perfect for friendship (Lucy and Ethel), anniversary (Lucy and Ricky), travel (Lucy, Ricky and the Mertz's), and get well, as shown above. I couldn't resist using Lucy, with that sick look on her face, which could mean just about anything. It made me think of the episode in the chocolate factory! Enough said!
With this cute image of Lucy, I created a card for just saying "Hello Girlfriend!". The vintage style woman and phone, are from scrapbook paper I purchased at the show as well. I thought they were a perfect fit for the theme. Graphic 45: Quilting Bee (polka dots) and Party Line (woman/phone).
